Amanda is adventurous, energetic and friendly. She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Amanda knew cosmetology was for her when she discovered she has a passion for art and creativity. She loves hand painting hair with a paint brush! Amanda loves to work out, be outside in nature, and read motivational/inspirational books. She loves her job because she loves meeting new people and hearing their stories while making them look and feel beautiful. She loves being a therapist! Amanda’s career goal/dreams are to continue learning and growing while taking in all this forever changing industry has to offer her. Amanda’s best guest experience was having the honor of taking care of one of her clients while she was going through chemo. Amanda got her wigs and they laughed and cried together.  Amanda is certified in hand tied extensions, Brazilian and Keratin Blowouts, and has taken editorial updo classes in New York City with Vivienne MecKinder.

A native to Baton Rouge, Shannon brings a skillset like no other. She taught at the Aveda Institute for 3 years and then taught at Vanguard College of Cosmetology for 4 more years. As a mom and mentor to young stylists she is the definition of loyalty and dependability who spends her time away from the salon with her husband and their two children. Her work has made it to national television and many editorials! One of her passions in Cosmetology is bridal hair and makeup. She truly enjoys making brides beautiful on their special day and has picked up quite a following in the industry. She is also known for her incredible transformations so follow her on social media to see her makeovers-some just may say it’s MAGIC!

Megan is an ambitious, compassionate and inventive person who, from the time of a toddler, knew she wanted to do hair. She feels her job expresses who she is. Megan is most passionate about her job because it gives her the opportunity to make women feel empowered and beautiful! Her goal is to never stop improving as a stylist to her guest’s, and to one day own a successful business.

Amber is friendly, easy going and patient. She was born in New Orleans and raised in Gramery, Louisiana. Amber took a Cosmetology class in High School and knew this career path was for her! Outside of the salon, Amber loves hanging out with family, getting her nails done and spending quality time with her wife!  Amber loves educating her guests about products and achieving a style they never thought was achievable. Her career goal is to be able to comfortably provide for herself and her family while being in a happy and positive work environment. Amber’s ultimate dream is to be a Mom! Amber’s best guest experiences are being a part of a bride’s special day and creating positive experiences and memories for her guests. Amber registered an extra 500 hours with the State Board and graduated with texture honors. She is certified in Brazilian and Keratin Express Blowouts. She is a former Kerastase Ambassador and Blowout trainer.

Jacob is a considerate, humble and ambitious stylist whose passion for the industry started in the world of cosmetics. He now is a cosmetologist expanding his craft everyday. The thing he loves most about his job is the artistry, skill and the talent involved to serve his guests and their hair dreams. The trust that he builds between him and the guest is imperative to him and he loves bringing their vision to reality. One of Jacob’s many goals in the industry is to become an educator while maintaining himself as an artist.

Raquel is silly, gentle and caring. She was born in Fortpierce, Florida and moved around a lot growing up! She knew Cosmetology was for her because she always found herself being the one to get every person she knew ready for a special day, whether it was for make-up or for hair. She always enjoyed doing the whole process as well. Raquel enjoys working out, reading, spending time with her family, and she enjoys creating creative make-up looks. She loves her job because she loves watching the transformation, the look on the guests face, their confidence coming back in some way or form, I have made a little bit of difference in someone’s life.  Raquel’s dream for her career is to specialize in creative make-up and she wants to learn all there is to learn in the industry. Her best guest experience was when she worked in a barbershop – she had a guy come in to get the full experience, little did she know that his mother had just passed. Raquel made him comfortable, worked her charm on him, he laughed, and by the time the service was coming to an end, he told her this was one of the first few days he genuinely smiled, he confided in Raquel and told her he was super grateful to her for making him feel important. She felt so touched, and believed he impacted her life more than she did his.

Bethany is friendly, considerate and resourceful. She was born and raised in Metairie and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Bethany knew Cosmetology was for her in 7th grade when her mom let her start playing with make-up and she became obsessed. From there, Bethany started trying to cut her own hair and her friends’ hair. She loves spending time with her pets and loves getting to bond with them and include her pets in her daily routines. Bethany loves her job because she loves making people feel pretty. The confidence a new style can bring to someone is what she lives for. Bethany’s career goals/dreams is to be a trusted and respected stylist. Seeing a new stylist can be scary and she wants people to feel welcomed and comfortable when they sit in her chair. Her best guest experience happened when she was in cosmetology school – she helped a woman achieve her goal of getting a big chop. It was the first time a client trusted her that much. The client loved it and she became a regular client until Bethany graduated.

One of Alexis’s most memorable guest experiences was when she worked her magic for a guest’s homecoming. A few days later, the guest’s mother reached out to express their heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the transformation Alexis had achieved. It’s moments like these that reaffirm her love for her craft.
