Recently, she had a meaningful experience with a client battling skin cancer, which reinforced her belief in the power of kindness and faith. With encouragement from her uncle, a stylist with over 30 years of experience, Gianna realized she should pursue this passion as a career.

Outside of work, Gianna enjoys spending time outdoors, whether gardening, spending time with her family, or fly fishing with her husband. She loves her job because it allows her to meet new people and positively impact their lives through the creativity and beauty of hair. Gianna specializes in low-maintenance, lived-in color but also enjoys working with grey coverage, women’s cuts, and men’s cuts.

Gayle started out in the beauty industry in a Lafayette salon but quickly put her sights on the fashion industry in California. She moved to Los Angeles and began working as a stylist for television. While there, she also began modeling for Wilhelmina and gained connections in the advertising community of LA. She sharpened her skills in fashion and style in LA. and took her knowledge of advertising styling to the east coast. She moved to South Carolina and worked on a production set focusing on wardrobes, makeup, and hair. She learned even more about fashion personalities and hair styling while in show business.

Gayle was then given the opportunity to work for Oschner in their Image Center. This is where she learned just how much she enjoyed giving back. While at Oschner she worked side by side with the plastic surgery, oncology, dermatology, and infectious disease departments. Gayle handled all the makeovers and was trained in San Fransisco on Camouflage Therapy for burn survivors and the transformative line of skin care-Obagi. Gayle then built a salon in her home so she could be closer to her growing family. From there she was encouraged by her husband to open a salon and mentor young stylists. On a trip to California Gayle fell in love with the blow out concept and shortly after that Air opened as the first of its kind in Louisiana. The rest is history. Gayle currently specializes in cuts and color at Air however she spends the majority of her time coaching other stylists.

Outside of work, Mackenzie’s favorite pastime is spending quality time with her family, including her loving husband and two precious daughters. They are her greatest source of joy and inspiration, and their support fuels her dedication to her craft.

While attending Aveda, she was a proud member of the Full Potential team and continues to give back through her work with The Miracle League. For Madison, being in the service industry is about more than just styling hair—it’s about empowering others, making them feel beautiful, confident, and uplifted.

Her ultimate dream? To travel the world, sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of passionate artists.

Meet Maddie! Creative, open-minded, and adventurous, Maddie was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. She discovered her passion for cosmetology after realizing she needed a career that offered both a creative outlet and the flexibility to explore life to the fullest.

Maddie’s love for travel, concerts, reading, and playing Animal Crossing reflects her adventurous spirit. What she enjoys most about her job is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, continuously learn new things, and brighten someone’s day with a smile or a laugh.

With three years of experience doing hair in Georgia, she gained extensive education and hands-on training to refine her craft. Her ultimate career dream is to explore new experiences, visit places she’s never been, and build a career that welcomes diverse individuals—allowing her to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Maria describes herself as kind, creative, and organized — qualities that shine through in both her work and the way she serves her guests. Born and raised in Mexico and Louisiana, Maria first discovered her passion for cosmetology when she began doing hair and makeup for her family during special events. Seeing their confidence and happiness lit a spark in her, and she knew she wanted to dedicate her career to helping others feel beautiful too.

Outside of the salon, Maria loves doing her own makeup, shopping, and enjoying walks. But her greatest joy comes from her work: “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone’s face light up after a service. Helping people feel confident and beautiful brings me so much joy.”

Maria’s career dream is to become a well-known hairstylist recognized for the quality of her work, with hopes of one day opening her own salon where she can continue doing what she loves most. She carries that vision into every guest experience. One of her favorite memories was helping a client who was nervous about getting a new haircut — when they saw the result, they told Maria it was the best they had ever felt about themselves. “It was such a powerful reminder of why I love what I do,” she says.

Maria has already been recognized for her excellence, including receiving a 5-star pin in Aveda and participating in the Aveda Halloween War. She continues to grow in her craft, always learning and striving to execute with excellence.

Lisa is an enthusiastic, life giving and diligent worker who has been in the industry for over 25 years. In college, while working as a receptionist in a salon, she came to realize that she desired to make people look and feel better about themselves. What Lisa loves most about her job is that she gets the privilege to lift people up during each appointment. She has the unique opportunity to talk with people, as well as to listen to their stories. Not only does she love making her guests feel better on the outside, but she is also able to really touch their heart as well. Lisa’s main goal is to add life and love to each guest that she is privileged to serve. She strives to give her best to each and every guest and coworker, and to be an example of hard work and determination. Her desire is to be a light in a hurting world and to bring hope and encouragement to those around her!

Lindsay’s journey in cosmetology began in high school, working in her stepmother’s salon. It was there that she discovered her passion for the art of hair and the joy of helping others look and feel their best.

Beyond her talent for styling, Lindsay has always cherished the connections she builds with her guests. As a busy mother of three boys, she truly values her time in the salon—where she can channel her creativity, enjoy meaningful conversations, and create a welcoming experience for every client.

Her ultimate career goal? To one day own her own salon, where she can continue inspiring confidence and beauty in others while fostering a space for creativity and connection.
