Gayle started out in the beauty industry in a Lafayette salon but quickly put her sights on the fashion industry in California. She moved to Los Angeles and began working as a stylist for television. While there, she also began modeling for Wilhelmina and gained connections in the advertising community of LA. She sharpened her skills in fashion and style in LA. and took her knowledge of advertising styling to the east coast. She moved to South Carolina and worked on a production set focusing on wardrobes, makeup, and hair. She learned even more about fashion personalities and hair styling while in show business.

Gayle was then given the opportunity to work for Oschner in their Image Center. This is where she learned just how much she enjoyed giving back. While at Oschner she worked side by side with the plastic surgery, oncology, dermatology, and infectious disease departments. Gayle handled all the makeovers and was trained in San Fransisco on Camouflage Therapy for burn survivors and the transformative line of skin care-Obagi. Gayle then built a salon in her home so she could be closer to her growing family. From there she was encouraged by her husband to open a salon and mentor young stylists. On a trip to California Gayle fell in love with the blow out concept and shortly after that Air opened as the first of its kind in Louisiana. The rest is history. Gayle currently specializes in cuts and color at Air however she spends the majority of her time coaching other stylists. 

Lisa is an enthusiastic, life giving and diligent worker who has been in the industry for over 25 years. In college, while working as a receptionist in a salon, she came to realize that she desired to make people look and feel better about themselves. What Lisa loves most about her job is that she gets the privilege to lift people up during each appointment. She has the unique opportunity to talk with people, as well as to listen to their stories. Not only does she love making her guests feel better on the outside, but she is also able to really touch their heart as well. Lisa’s main goal is to add life and love to each guest that she is privileged to serve. She strives to give her best to each and every guest and coworker, and to be an example of hard work and determination. Her desire is to be a light in a hurting world and to bring hope and encouragement to those around her!

Carrie provides services in haircuts, highlighting, balayage, hair extensions, Evolve hair system, and styling. Her first love however was makeup. She has years of experience creating volume, thickness, and length using hair extensions and is certified in Evolve Volumizers and Extensions. Carrie has a true love and passion for women suffering hair loss. She works her magic to allow women to feel like themselves again and finds no greater joy than seeing them smile. Carrie’s only wish is to make sure every client that sits in her chair receives the best experience they have ever had in any salon.

Gina who comes to us from the “bottom of the boot” Buras, Louisiana brings talent and honesty to the Mandeville area! She focuses on her health and always puts her guest’s health first as well. She has pursued training to learn techniques for keeping hair healthy while making it beautiful! Her favorite moment at Air was when a guest of her’s felt a sensation in her legs while Gina was massaging her scalp at the shampoo bowl. This was an incredible moment for her guest and Gina because her guest suffered from neuropathy! That day confirmed her belief that she was meant to be in this industry providing services like this and changing people’s lives.

From a young age, Madison knew Cosmetology was for her. She was always the one, among her friends, doing everyone’s hair and makeup. Because of this, her passion became obvious to her pretty quickly. While attending Aveda she was a part of the Full Potential team and to this day, she helps with The Miracle League.  Being in the service industry gives her the opportunity to make people feel beautiful, confident and encouraged. Madison’s ultimate goal is to travel the world and have the opportunity to teach other hungry artists.

Lindsay began her career in cosmetology while in high school. She worked in her step-mother’s salon and early on developed a love for the opportunity to make people feel their best, with the art of hair. She has always enjoyed the relational aspect of working in a Salon, and as a mother of three boys, while very busy, she looks forward to her days in the Salon to spend time with her guests’. Lindsay’s ultimate career goal is to one day own a Salon.

Taylor has always been drawn to the Cosmetology world. What she loves most about this industry is that it provides constant opportunities to grow, paired with continuing education. Her goal is to build a clientele to enable her to use her creativity. Taylor loves the ability to hear her guest’s needs, use her creativity to accomplish it and ultimately make them feel good. One of Taylor’s main focuses is to serve her guest’s to her fullest and give them the best experience possible.

Adrienne Colletti has a true love for all things hair. She is a second generation hair stylist specializing in hand-tied hair extensions and Evolve hair systems for women suffering from hair loss. She has a true love for cutting and color as well as highlighting and styling.  Adrienne’s goal is for every guest to leave her chair renewed and refreshed. She believes that everyone deserves to be their best selves and that hair can play an important role in self discovery and appreciation of oneself.

Maddie is creative, open minded and adventurous. She was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. Maddie knew Cosmetology was for her after discovering she needed a creative outlet with a flexible schedule. She loves to travel, go to concerts, play animal crossing and read. Maddie loves her job because it gives her the opportunity to meet a lot of different people and learn new things. She likes being able to make people smile and laugh and make a small difference in someone’s life. Maddie’s career goals/dreams is to experience all kinds of new things and go to places she hasn’t been. She wants her career to bring  people from all walks of life so she can learn from them. Maddie did hair in Georgia for three  years and experienced lots of extra education.

Lux radiates warmth, kindness, and creativity in every aspect of her life. Born and raised in Louisiana, she has always felt a magnetic pull towards the world of cosmetology. Despite initial hesitation fueled by societal stereotypes, she eventually embraced her passion wholeheartedly, much to her own joy and fulfillment.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Lux finds solace and joy in indulging her love for anime. Her career in cosmetology is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity for her to share her innate talent with others, leaving them feeling cherished and beautiful.

Looking towards the future, Lux harbors aspirations of becoming a nomadic artist or educator, traversing the globe with her skills and knowledge. One of her most cherished memories stems from her time in school, where she had the privilege of giving a transformative haircut to the mother of her School Director. The sheer delight and newfound confidence expressed by her client left Lux feeling immensely proud, affirming her passion for her craft.

Meet Miracle! She is honest, creative, and caring. Miracle was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. Miracle developed a passion for Cosmetology at a young age while watching her mom work in a salon – she fell in love with make-up and hair. She loves her job because she can serve others through life’s most significant events. She loves encouraging others and showing God’s love. Miracle hopes to be a Salon Owner one day with a focus on Bridal Parties. Miracle will make you feel like family with a relaxing salon experience. Fun Fact! She was an assistant make-up artist for the New Orleans Pelicans Basketball Team Make-up Sponsor. Miracle has taken additional make-up classes from make-up influencers via social media.

Meet Mia!

Mia is an outgoing, kind-hearted, and free-spirited individual who loves to talk and get to know her clients. Born in New Orleans and raised on the Northshore, Mia has always enjoyed serving others. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work in hair, often doing everyone’s hair and makeup for events. Her passion for making a difference blossomed in high school when she styled hair for residents at the nursing home where her mom worked. The joy she brought them inspired her to turn her passion into a career.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys eating and painting. She treasures the connections and relationships she builds with her clients, always striving to make a difference, no matter how small. Recently, she had a meaningful experience with a client battling skin cancer, which reinforced her belief in the power of kindness and faith. Mia is also certified in lash extensions, adding another skill to her repertoire as she continues to live life one day at a time.

Gianna is an organized, detailed, positive, and goal-oriented individual with a creative spirit. Born and raised in Folsom, Louisiana, she discovered her passion for cosmetology through her love of doing hair and makeup as a creative hobby. With encouragement from her uncle, a stylist with over 30 years of experience, Gianna realized she should pursue this passion as a career.

Outside of work, Gianna enjoys spending time outdoors, whether gardening, spending time with her family, or fly fishing with her husband. She loves her job because it allows her to meet new people and positively impact their lives through the creativity and beauty of hair. Her career goal is to create a special connection with everyone who sits in her chair, ensuring they leave feeling great. Gianna specializes in low-maintenance, lived-in color but also enjoys working with grey coverage, women’s cuts, and men’s cuts.

Meet Savanna, a talented stylist whose love for hairstyling runs deep. Her passion for transforming hair and creating beauty has been a part of her life since she was young, and it’s a family tradition she proudly continues.

One of her best guest experiences was when someone came in having a rough day and left feeling happy. Izzy is lash and extension certified, ensuring she can provide a wide range of beauty services to her clients.

Meet Caitlin, a stylist known for her caring, charismatic, and attentive nature. From the moment she decided to pursue cosmetology, Caitlin knew she had found her true calling—a career that allows her to care for people, unleash her creativity, and continuously learn and grow.

Outside of work, Caitlin’s heart belongs to her loyal companion, London, her beloved dog. Whether they’re taking leisurely walks by the lakefront or indulging in pup cups, Caitlin enjoys every moment spent with her furry friend.

One of her most cherished moments in the field was when she had the pleasure of transforming a quiet and nervous guest during her cosmetology school days. By the end of the session, the guest was not only thrilled with her new look but also talkative and warm. Their bond grew so strong that Caitlin was invited to holiday parties, and they still keep in touch.

Meet Jaylan, She is as unique as they come! She’s Prudent, Pure at heart, and her artistic abilities are at an all time high! She was raised in Angie Louisiana.

Jaylan’s love for hair started as early as 3 years old. Playing with Bratz dolls and experimenting with scissors in her mom’s hair while she was asleep. This was just the beginning of her love for hair! Beyond the salon, Jaylan enjoys songwriting with the Holyspirit. She also loves snuggling with her fur babies, and road tripping. What sets Jaylan apart is her genuine love for her job. She doesn’t see her job as work, but as an opportunity to serve a purpose. She believes that as she serves her guest, She is also serving Christ. Providing her guest with a quality experience is top priority! Jaylan’s Career goals is to always embrace the role of a servant leader. She hopes to own her own Salon and Spa that would be a place of refreshment and healing for all people. One of her favorite moments as a stylist was when one of her guest came to get a wash and style, while suffering from a migraine. After Jaylan was done massaging and washing her hair, her guest was shocked and testified of the pain being completely gone! She also expressed that Jaylan had healing hands. Jaylan is a well rounded, and flexible stylist who loves a challenge. Her continuous growth and learning enables her to stay at the forefront of the industry, trends, and techniques! Jaylan is also a very skilled Headicurist, who has been personally trained by other headicurist from Vietnam. She has also obtained certifications for Brazilian blow outs, waxing, eyelash extensions, and Microblading 101. Meet Kylee! She is bubbly, focused, and adventurous. She comes from the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Biloxi. In her free time, Kylee enjoys traveling, fishing, exercising, and taking the boat out on a bright, sunny day. After receiving her Bachelors degree in biology from the University of South Alabama, cosmetolgy became a turning point in her life. She decided to choose a path in life that offers a flexible lifestyle and one that is so enjoyable to her, that everyday never feels like a day of work. Kylee loves the opportunity to serve others and to make someone feel more confident than they were initially, after they leave her chair. Kylee’s most cherished moments in her career happen when the eyes of her guest light up and they smile ear to ear when they look in the mirror. Kylee’s goal is to one day have a salon of her own!

Meet Courtney!

Courtney is a passionate, outgoing, and bubbly individual who brings warmth and energy to everything she does. Born and raised in New England, she moved to Louisiana during high school, where her love for cosmetology began to blossom. Though she always knew she had a passion for the beauty industry, it wasn’t until her mid-20s that she decided to pursue it as a career.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending quality time with her kids, family, and friends. She loves her job because it allows her to make everyone in her chair feel special and beautiful, and she thrives on meeting new people and making connections. Courtney’s career goal is to continue growing, mastering her crafts, and exploring new ones.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Courtney’s work is her experience with hair loss and cancer patients, especially as a survivor herself. These moments of mutual support and connection are the ones she cherishes the most.

Courtney is certified in Bellami, Aqua, and Babe hand-tied, weft, and k-tip extensions, and she is continually enhancing her skills with continuing education in balayage and French cutting techniques.
